Stan will be remembered for his thoughtful and spirited conversations, his generosity, and his willingness to help others. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private interment will take place at York Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his Diane and Danny. Memorial donations in Stan’s memory may be made to the Stan Gasner Graduate Scholarship in Healthcare Engineering at the University of Toronto, the Bruce Trail Conservancy (Land Acquisition Fund), or the Canadian Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
