Press Release – Meet the U of T Engineering alumnus who dedicated his career to helping patients breathe easier

Arthur Slutsky (EngSci 7T0, MASc MIE 7T2) chose to study engineering over medicine for a very practical reason.

“I have a terrible memory,” he says. “When I saw those anatomy figures, and all the terms you’d have to memorize, I said ‘Forget it. I’m good at math, and I like figuring things out. I’ll be an engineer.’”
