MEng Certificate in Healthcare Engineering
In this program, students can opt to take a selection of courses relevant to careers in healthcare engineering. These courses provide an overview of the Canadian healthcare system as well as an overview of basic industrial engineering tools and concepts. Students will learn how to apply industrial engineering methods to clinical problems, and will have the opportunity to focus their studies on either operations research or human factors topics. After coursework is completed, students will take on internships to exercise their engineering abilities.
The program comprises 3 required courses and 7 elective courses, with an option to undertake a project, co-op or internship.
